The Yeatman family has owned the Mill for well over 100 years and in 1976, while retaining its old world charm, completely converted, restored and refurbished the building.  Its history goes back many centuries.  There is even an old smugglers' passage under the building (now walled up !), built in the 18th century.

The Mill is directly on Poole Quay, halfway between the lifting bridge and the Customs House.  It has superb views of the Quay, Poole Harbour and the Purbeck Hills in the distance.

Situated in the heart of Old Poole, it is within easy walking distance of all of Poole's facilities. Many people would agree that Poole's best pubs and restaurants are on or near the Quay, all within 5 minutes walk.

It is a fantastic place to live; Poole town centre is within 15 minutes walk, Bournemouth town centre is within 15 minutes drive and the Sandbanks/ Studland beaches by ferry !
